Built from scratch, you won't find anything else like them!

It has to be said that we often get the urge here at Black Bear to let our creative juices flow and before you know it, a truly unique motorcycle dressed in chrome and packing a mighty punch is wheeled out of our workshops.

We try to be as inventive and diverse as possible with each of our designs to showcase the wide range of parts and accessories available and some of the most adventurous and skillfully created paint designs you are ever likely to see. It's amazing how these already good-looking machines, can frankly become drop-dead gorgeous!

And if you feel inspired by one of our showroom displays, we carry out a full build-up service for our customers.

Custom Built Chopper

This motorcycle was built completely from scratch in our workshop. It features a North Sea Chopper chassis, 1340 Evo engine, performance machine wheels and brakes, forward controls, S&S carburettor, BDL 3" belt drive, V-Twin air cleaner and pipes and progressive suspension shocks. The stunning custom paint is by Keith Baker.

myles' bobber

This Hot Rod creation is down to our parts manager, Myles Conning, and has earned him an impressive five-page spread in the latest issue of American-V magazine. Again, the bike is built from scratch and is entirely down to Myles' imagination and attention to detail. This Bobber comes with a 1340 Evolution engine, five-speed gearbox, SU carburettor, headquarters cam and features a distinctive chrome basket air filter - all fitted within a standard type Softail frame and masterminded in our new workshop facility. Even the hand-crafted brown leather seat was created in-house. But this beauty is not for sale - Myles would never part with it!
