Changes to the 'Finance Act'
allow for new motorcycles to be treated as 'plant & equipment'
for business users and the self employed who use a bike in the
course of their work or business. 100% of the cost of a new bike
can be offset against their business in the first year. 40% tax
payers save the most and with the VAT re-claim, the total savings
can amount to approx' 45% saving off the cost of a new
