Black Bear has been voted the 'No.1 Dealer in East Anglia' and the fourth best dealer in the country in Ride Magazine's 'Rider Power Awards 2008'.
The awards are particularly significant as it is the motorcyclists themselves who vote, not the industry, and thousands of Ride readers completed an online survey to determine the winners of a range of categories from the top bike to the best riding gear.
Considering we were up against every other motorcycle dealer in the country, we think fourth place overall is a fantastic result and while we were voted No.1 in the East Anglian region, we will continue to strive for first place nationally.
Black Bear owner Nigel Darken said: "We are obviously delighted that readers of Ride magazine voted for us. We work hard to ensure our customers receive the highest standards from Black Bear and it is very satisfying to receive such an accolade and to learn that our hard work is appreciated."
The list of Rider Power winners featured in the November issue of Ride magazine. Black Bear was one of only two Harley-Davidson dealerships to feature in the Top 50 Best Dealers category.
Elsewhere in the awards, Harley-Davidson's Switchback Jacket was voted the No.1 textile riding jacket, rated on nine criteria including pockets, cuffs, warmth and waterproofing. It is an extremely versatile jacket that allows you to remove sections or zip them back on depending on the weather.
