Then look no further than Black Bear as we have been chosen as the only dealership in the country to pilot Harley-Davidson UK’s very own rider training programme – Rider’s Edge.

This new concept enables us to offer you first class training using our showroom as a base. Rider’s Edge offers training programmes for everyone, whether you are taking to the saddle for the first time or making a return to motorcycling.

We will take your bookings here at Black Bear, provide the bikes and kit you out in Genuine Harley-Davidson MotorClothes^® before handing you over to the Rider’s Edge instructors, who will expertly guide you through Compulsory Basic Training to your full motorcycle licence through a Direct Access course or any advanced training you may require.  We have a selection of current models available, all maintained to the highest standard by our skilled technicians, and whatever you learn to ride on will be the bike you take your test on.

Black Bear is a friendly and fun bike shop and we welcome anyone through our doors. You can even have a free coffee while you wait for your lesson to begin!
